Chez Catherine is a renowned French restaurant at the Westfield Inn, and described by reviewers as a "music box of mirrors and culinary delights.” The New York Times refers to it as "a refined corner of France where the food is excellent and the atmosphere elegant.”

Owners Didier and Edith Jouvenet, formerly of La Grenouille and the Carlyle Hotel in New York City, offer classic French cuisine, which has recently included herb-crusted salmon, tenderloin au poivre, morel sauced veal and red snapper dappled with citrus beurre blanc. The innovative kitchen offers new culinary delights such as pillow with seafood in lobster sauce or sautéed loin of pork Calvados with fresh apples. An extensive well-edited wine list complements their world-class fare.

Appetizers.

Mixed greens with an herb vinaigrette with apples and deglazing juices, endives with roasted peppers and a baked goat cheese in a walnut vinaigrette and caramelized shallots, warm saucisson with a warm fingerling potato salad in a mustard vinaigrette, asparagus vinaigrette with sliced avocado, crudités du jour, French antipasti of vegetables.

Main Menu.

Roasted pork Normande with apples and deglazing juices; filet of salmon with seasonal sauce; halibut, braised and served with fennel and petit légumes of the season; medallions of veal scaloppines, with a cream sauce or no cream; sliced filet of beef tenderloin au porto.

Chez Catherine is open everyday except Sunday and Monday and offers a true European retreat for our weary travelers.
