Refurbishment Project Seems to be Going Well

Some reviewers have commented on problems at the hotel, either with "age" issues or construction impact. We would like to report that the refurbishment project seems to be well underway and the hotel is getting a good makeover. There was a little noise, from work on the second floor, but it ended just before dinner time. There was a little construction "dust" in the stairwell, but management seems to keep on top of things and is sensitive to guests' concerns. Our room was refurbished, and in Excellent condition. All promised amenities were available and working well. We used the WiFi, coffee pot, and hair dryer. The tub/shower is roomy, as is the room itself. We appreciated the sitting area, and the individual room climate controls. The hotel's location is terrific. Walking distance to several restaurants, upscale shopping, and the train station, all within a few blocks. Breakfast was average, typical of low-end buffet style offerings. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Thank you

Hit and Miss

Fantastic location in downtown Westfield-walk to shopping, restaurants, train. Room is clean, good sized and has a fridge and microwave and free wi-fi. There was no hot water for a morning shower on the first morning. It was fixed by afternoon, though. Staff was apologetic but nothing offered (eg credit) to make up for it. Housekeeping did not replenish coffee or toiletries that were used up. Eggs and potatoes at free breakfast were cold. Will stay again when I come back to town because of location and will hope for better experience

BRLA

Great place to stay. Staff very courteous and polite. Great value for the price and super clean. Stayed next door last time in area and will always choose this place when in BRLA. If you need a downside, the parking spaces are a little small for a 4x4 crew cab pickup

Faboulous Hotel Experience

Feels new, modern, and contemporary. Loved the high ceiling in the bedroom with a ceiling fan that was quiet. I sleep with a fan at home so this was a bonus for me. Front desk staff were top notch and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Close to some great restaurant options within a few miles. Staff brought me an extra blanket graciously. This separates this hotel. The staff genuinely enjoyed helping me and wanting me to be comfortable. I arrived at this hotel on Sunday after a very long week on the road. Loved that they had soft and harder pillows on the bed to select the one that worked the best for me. Large flat screen was a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will stay here again
